Our life is full of stress. Many people live under the press of economic, social and other problems. These people find different ways to get rid of stress, and one of them is sport.

In my opinion, sport is really the best way to reduce stress. First of all, it strengthens your body stimulating muscular and nervous system. Your body and muscles become stronger improving your reactions to stress. In addition, sport improves your state of mind. If you exercise a team sport, which is always very exciting, you focus away from problems and relieve the psycological tension. For example, playing football or volleyball shifts focus from your personal troublesome issues to collective goals. It improves your mood and reduces stress.

But there are people who ignore sport and consider it not to be the best stress relief. These people prefer watching TV, eating hearty meals, arranging noisy parties, etc. The goal is to put something different on your mind and to make you see other nice things besides your problems.

Nevertherless, I cannot agree with my opponents because their reasoning is unsound. They offer things that fuel stress and cause a lot more problems. Watching TV is mostly a waste of time, overeating leads to obesity, noisy parties are a sort of silly entertainment. All these things do not make you physically or morally stronger, which means that they do not set you free from stress.

To sum it up, I would like to emphasize the importance of sport as the best means of stress reducing. If you have some spare time, use it to make some physical exercises and feel better.
