Значение фразовых глаголов

be at someone (informal) – try to persuade someone in an unpleasant way; complain continually.
She’s always at her husband to stop smoking.

be with someone – understand someone’s explanation argument, thoughts, etc.
Can you repeat that, please? I’m not with you.

count on someone – rely on someone; trust someone to help.
You can always count on Ann to give you good advice.

go off someone / something – lose one’s taste or liking for someone/something.
We’ve gone off camping holidays. We’re going to a hotel this year.

look into something – investigate or research something.
The police are looking into the case very thoroughly.

take after someone – resemble someone.
Mary takes after her father in being strong-willed.
