Last week my wife and I flew from Los Angeles to New York City for a wedding. Everything went well except for the flight home. We got to the airport in plenty of time. We discovered that that plane also had a mechanical problem. They announced that our original 4 o’clock flight would leave at 8:45 pm. We signed up as stand-bys for a 6 o’clock flight and were given seats. We got into Los Angeles at 9 pm Pacific Time. Our luggage was on the original plane. The luggage was delivered to our house the next morning.
