Dear John,

I (have) a great time here in London. I (not be) to London before and I (like) it here very much.

Now I (stay) with my friends who (live) here for about ten years. So they (know) the city pretty well. The only problem is they always (quarrel) over silly things so I (prefer) to walk around London on my own.

I (arrive) three days ago and already (see) some places of interest: the Tower, Big Ben, Trafalgar Square and some others. I (visit) the National Gallery and the British Museum as well.

I (think) of attending a language school here. I (not make) any enquiries about such schools yet, but I (not think) I should miss this opportunity to improve my English while I (be) here. English people (seem) to be friendly and helpful. I (try) to speak English as much as possible. I have to say that people (understand) me! It’s wonderful because I (learn) English for only two years.

It’s a pity you (not be) here with me. I can’t help thinking about you. You (miss) me too?

Я прекрасно провожу время здесь в Лондоне. До этого я не был в Лондоне, и мне здесь очень нравится.

Сейчас я проживаю у своих друзей, которые прожили здесь около десяти лет. Поэтому они весьма хорошо знают город. Единственная проблема заключается в том, что они постоянно ссорятся по поводу глупых вещей, потому по Лондону я предпочитаю гулять один.

Англичане кажутся дружелюбными и готовыми помочь. Я пытаюсь как можно больше говорить по-английски. Должен сказать, что люди понимают меня! Это удивительно, потому что я учу английский только два года.

Жаль, что тебя нет здесь со мной. Не могу не думать о тебе. Ты тоже обо мне скучаешь?
